Greetings Wordlers,
Please leave a link to your post in the comments below. Don’t post poems in their entirety here, to promote easy scrolling. I’ll be up in the mountains on Sunday, so if you are a new poster, I might not get your comments approved until later in the day.
Enjoy the write!
Brenda
OOPS! I just published this instead of scheduling it. Ah well, I’ll leave it up for you early birds. 🙂
Way Fun, Brenda–thanks!!

Blogspot is giving a fit today! Anyone else having a problem?
That would be *giving me a fit*
I have intermittent problems mainly with the reversing some or all of the text colour which is very annoying when pasting from Word. This often necessitates rewriting the piece directly in Blogspot. Grrrr!
Copy from word into a plain text editor like Notepad, and then copy from there into your Blog.

Once again, I’ve combined two prompts.

I’ve been reading Wordle poems and puzzling over the word instill, which crops up in all of them. I wondered why it looked odd, and checked the spelling. Yoiks – one l too many….. And we’ve all slavishly copied it!
Not mine, 😉
nor mine!
British spelling is with one “l,” but American English prefers two: instill.
I use and teach Bristish English.
Though, I see I used the American spelling of “meters”, ha ha ha!
I initially wrote “Instill” then changed it to suit the (probable) majority. Also, as the prompt word was “Instil” that is what good bloggers should use!
I wish I hadn’t replied here. I simply didn’t use the word. I didn’t even think about the spelling.
I didn’t use it either! It stumped me—even though it was spelled the good old American way! 😉
