Wordle 79 ~ A Baker’s Dozen from Barbara

Greetings Wordlers,

This week’s words come to us from Barbara Yates Young. She culled them from a listserv bulletin board. It’s the third Sunday of the month, and I’m grateful for this baker’s dozen that showed up in my inbox a few weeks ago. Thanks Barbara!!

I’m visiting my folks and likely won’t post or be around much before later in the day, or even Monday. Have a great Sunday, and enjoy each other’s work this morning.

See you soon,

Brenda

I didn’t get the early words this week, funny how we get so dependent on them and look for them?

I managed to eke out a poem before the new week’s post…phew! I’ve been on vacation and did NO writing for 10 days! Writing this was like working muscles that had gone “soft.” 😉

    I had fun with this.

Tons of fun. Tame words I was determined to twist into something creepy. (Got Halloween on the brain) I’ll be back to check out everyone’s tomorrow and link up on my blog. 🙂 http://veronicaroth.com/?p=2064

  6. What a terrific Wordle! I had so much fun – and I actually was reminded and prompted to write about something HAPPY! I hope you can enjoy it – at least as much as I did!

I am out if town I wrote four responses to these words -all strange nine of which leave me with my usual good feeling – I wrote the two unlinked but on my blog before I left on my trip and the 2 I did post just within this still dark morning hour. I felt very challenged and considered not posting at all… My apologies if these are uninspired – I think them odder than usual. Happy Sunday all 🙂

  9. Thank you for a challenging wordle. My poem is a bit different from my usual… almost a story. http://hopefuljo.wordpress.com/2012/10/21/365-creativity-project-day-286/

  10. Wow, Brenda. I got so involved in my journey, i almost forgot it was a prompt! Thanks.

  11. It took a while, but hopefully it made sense. A real challenge, for me.

This one is from a conversation I had the other day with a friend. Couldn’t manage the word “job”. It is good to be back after my flu last week. Thanks for the words, Barb.

Have a lovely time with your folks. I had a bit of fun with this one – a sarcastic cliché-ridden prose poem.
