This was one of those wordles where I had to beat the words into submission for a while before coming up with something that worked out. Definitely a challenge, but an enjoyable one.

My first attempt at a Wordle; challenging. Took an odd unhappy turn too. Enjoyed doing it though.

I miss read the word “yarn” and thought it was “yam”. I found it very hard to add the word “yam” to my piece. So I decided to leave it. A great way to start the year! Thank you Brenda.
This seems to be one of those polarising wordles. Poems flashed into being or they struggled all the way.
It’s lovely to see everyone. I am going to enjoy my new year morning with coffee and your poems and the sight of my husband whisking the ingredients for his sinful eggnog.

I’m with you Viv – this one came “of whole cloth” as they say, almost unspooling like a reel of film in my mind – now whether that makes it any good, that’s not for me to say but it does make it more fun that’s for sure!
